Lumber is an in-demand natural material used in construction and furniture production. Despite the presence of synthetic counterparts, due to their properties such as environmental friendliness, durability and aesthetics, lumber continues to hold a leading position in the world market. The most common timber is made of hardwood and softwood such as beech, oak, pine, spruce, fir, birch, alder, larch, poplar, basswood, and aspen. In the construction of timber produced lining, blockhouse, doors, windows, platband, planking for flooring and trim, fences, skirting boards, slats, window sills, etc. Furniture production uses plywood, chipboard, fibreboard and oriented strand board (OSB).
